With a performative tombola by Iginio De Luca
On Wednesday, 11th December 2019 AlbumArte, independent non-profit space for contemporary art in Rome, invites the public to AlbumArte 20×20, 2019, a group exhibition curated by Claudio Libero Pisano, presenting 55 artworks by 55 artists in a 20×20 format.
The works, kindly donated by the participating artists to the association, will be available at the symbolic price of 99.99 euro and it will become a significant contribution for the future projects of AlbumArte. These are all unique pieces, with certificate of authenticity.
The support of the artists involved, who feel part of the vital and inclusive platform that we were able to create together, has been really warm and important. A group of emerging and more established artists who have worked with AlbumArte, or that feel part of it and want to support its principals and the method of its research. Their generosity also represents an significant opportunity for the public that will take part to this day of celebration as they will be able to acquire a unique and signed work at a truly symbolic price, clearly below the normal quotation.
But above all AlbumArte 20×20, 2019 is a day of celebration, for us and our beautiful community. At the end of the evening, Iginio De Luca will host a performative tombola. It’s going to be fun, a moment of exchange and friendship. After 5 years of intense activity, we are glad to see that our space has become with our pride an interesting and vital reference for the artistic community of Rome and beyond. Many of the artists are already well know by our public, but you will have the chance to know the others through their works and their presence. Fifty-five artists really are a lot, their energy overwhelms us and their generosity moves us. Welcome back to the artists we have never stopped following in their projects, welcome on board for all the others, who want to show us that building a network, despite the difficulties of the art system these days, is possible.
Finally, we want to highlight that even the city’s galleries will spread out our invitation and two Roman gallery owners, Beatrice Bertini and Benedetta Acciari, will be available to the public for any information. Further developing the network that has been created around us.
