Diana Sirianni

Diana Sirianni (1982, Rome) studies philosophy at La Sapienza University, then at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, continuing her studies at the UDK (Universität der Künste) in Berlin, where she lives since 2008. Her approach includes plastic, social, therapeutic forms, three-dimensional collages – architectural models, large site-specific collages in the living space, illegal interventions in public space, feminist actions, dance, workshops for artists in museums or universities such as ZKR, the Universität der Künste, Freie Universität Berlin, Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, Aachen and in the independent scene. Among her personal exhibitions we mention: Philipp von Rosen Galerie, Cologne (2012, 2014, 2015); Patrick Heide Contemporary Art, London (2015); Kunstverein, Göttingen (2016); Freshwindow Gallery, New York (2018). In 2018, following a radicalization of her political vision, she stopped collaborating with commercial galleries and started working independently, founding two collectives, “Heart*istic and Women*Making Art in Public Space”.
