Anna Cestelli Guidi

Born in Rome, she trained as Art Historian between Rome, Siena and Berlin. Since the mid-1990s she has worked in Spain – first at the CGAC of Santiago de Compostella, then at MACBA and at the Metrònom Foundation in Barcelona. Since 2005, she is responsible for the Visual Arts Section at Fondazione Musica of Rome Auditorium where, among others, she created the exhibition project titled ‘Artist’s Corner’ which reflects about the relationship between sound visual arts. Furthermore, she curated the Performance Section of Fluxus Biennial 2010-2011. Over the past few years, her research is focused on the relationship between sound and visual arts, developing periodical projects such as ‘One Space / One Sound’ and ‘Sound Corne’ at Rome Auditorium’s spaces. In 2010 she curated the sound project ‘Italian Art To be Listened To at the NCCA’ in Moscow; in 2014 she curated the exhibition ‘Score. Between Image and Sound’ at the MACRO Museum in Vigo (Spain); in 2019 she co-curated the exhibition ‘Il corpo della voce’ for the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome.
