Diana Legel

Diana Legel (1978, Rochlitz, Germany) lives and works in Berlin. She trained in stone restoration with scholarships in France and Hungary and then at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma from 2007 to 2010. She moved to Berlin where she attended the UDK, (Universität der Künste) from 2010 to 2014. Her artistic medium is mainly drawing; she investigates simple actions of the everyday life that open to reflection on time and matter. She is co-creator and curator of the traveling projects “Zeichnung als Idee/disegno idea and Transforming Lines” Peninsula Dotland lab, Berlin (2017). Her latest exhibitions include: 2018, “Receiver”, Transmitter Berlin-Space for Language and Culture Ortstermin Moabit, Berlin; 2019, “Anonyme Zeichner Archiv”, Kunsthaus Kannen, Münster; 2020, “Forare il tubo”, Festa Franca, Cannara; 2020, “Carbon Dreams”, Galerie Parterre, Berlin.
