Marinella Senatore

Marinella Senatore was born in Cava dei Tirreni (Italy) in 1977. She lives in Berlin. She works with video, photography, drawing, installation and sound.

Many of her works, often developed in collaboration with institutions such as museums and universities, involve entire communities in the creative process: the audience participates as co-writer, actor, set designer, cameramen. In the encounter between personal events and collective processes, reality and fiction, her projects describe a complex series of relationships, enabling the construction of an archive of shared narratives, capable of creating a sense of community.
