SPECIAL ENDING OF AlbumArte | VideoArtForum
FIRST SCREENING AND DISCUSSION ON  TUESDAY 12th APRIL AT 7:30PM
Introduced by Adriana Polveroni

Screening from Wednesday 13th to Saturday 16th April from 4pm to 9pm

AlbumArte Via Flaminia, 122 Roma

VIDEOARTFORUM PROJECT >>>

The appointment with Francesco Jodice, this time will be exceptionally held on Tuesday 12th 2016, and his solo show will continue until April 16th, concluding our screening of videos and artist’s films AlbumArte | VideoArtForum.

The artist presents a series of films and videos produced between 2004 and 2016, and the video How Are You Tomorrow has been edited for the occasion. The films chosen for his solo exhibition, (12 | 16 April 2015) “are cohesive and coherent because they seem to describe behavior, contradictions, actions and strategies belonging to a dystopic present. They extend over geographies, latitudes and reality politically and anthropologically very different, but always tell boundary conditions, a kind of boundary line of eligibility. A geopolitical portrait of the present that, if in fragments seems acceptable or partly understandable, as a whole becomes a paradox, a kind of theater of the absurd of State of Things” (FJ).

To AlbumArte, is a pleasure to have Francesco Jodice as a guest for the last date of VideoArtForum, because it represents a special opportunity to deepening and dialogue.

AlbumArte | VideoArtForum project has the patronage of Assessorato alla Cultura, Grandi Eventi, Turismo, Relazioni Internazionali del Municipio II of Roma Capitale.
