Gabi Scardi is a curator, writer and professor.\u00a0Her research is chiefly focused on the latest tendencies in artistic practice.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

She has a strong interest in multidisciplinary practices, particularly those that include an intersection between visual art and architecture, design, urban culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2007-2009 she co-curated CECAC (European Course for Contemporary Art Curators).\u00a0Between\u00a02007-2010 she collaborated with the\u00a0MAXXI (National Museum of XXI Century Arts)\u00a0in Rome.\u00a0From 2005 to 2009 she was the Contemporary Art Advisor to the Province of Milan.\u00a0She headed the Archivio degli Artisti C\/O Careof-Viafarini, Milan.<\/span>
\n She curated several public and intercultural artistic projects and she collaborated at several european projects.<\/span>
\n She teaches modules on Contemporary Art and Public Art at: IULM, Libera Univesit\u00e0 di Lingue e Comunicazione, Milan; Domus Academy, Milan; Universit\u00e0 Cattolica, Milan;\u00a0University of Milan Bicocca; IED, Milan; Modena Photography Foundation, Modena.<\/span>
\n She also a writers, having contributed reviews and features extensively to many publications and exhibition catalogues.\u00a0She edited several books and catalogues. She recently published the book\u00a0Landscape with figure, art, public sphere, social transformation, ed. Allemandi (2011)<\/span><\/p>\n

She has been Visiting Lecturer in Universities and curatorial studies.<\/span><\/p>\n
