We took all necessary safe measures, including courage, and made every effort to resist, but there is nothing more we can do now.
Following the new DPCM we are forced to CANCEL and postpone the following projects until further notice:
1) BARCODE by Sonia Andresano, curated by AlbumArte, Dimora OZ and Analogique, video installation part of the collateral event ARKAD Manifesta 13 – Les Parallèles du Sud, scheduled for November 5th and 6th and part of the collateral activities of the Quadriennale d’Arte 2020. Event realised in collaboration with: aA29 Project Room, AlbumArte, Analogique, Arteria Mediterranea, Bridge Art_residency, Casa Sponge, Dimora OZ, Dolomiti Contemporanee, Église, Fabula lab / Museo Archeologico Atella, Fourteen ArTellaro, GAD, KAD, KaOZ, Liminaria, MeNO, Museum of Santa Croce in Genoa, Oratorio Santa Maria (Selàa), Archaeological Park of Selinunte, PUSH, RAVE, Rizzuto Gallery, Villa Romana Popular School, Veniero Project. 2) SUBVERSIONES, an exhibition by the Basque artist Estibaliz Sádaba Murguía, scheduled from November 11th to December 12th, in collaboration with the Real Academia de España en Roma and the Fundación BilbaoArte Fundazioa
3) the presentation of the ALL BOOM ARTE Italian artists and at AlbumArte 2011 – 2020, editorial project supported by the Italian Council (8th Edition, 2020) program to promote Italian contem-porary art in the world by the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, which saw the participation of Umberto Croppi, Cesare Pietroiusti, Adriana Polveroni, Grossi Maglioni and Cosimo Veneziano, already set for November 18th at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Sala Cinema, within the Quadriennale d’Arte 2020 and in collaboration with MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Rome; Roma Capitale. We want to thank our artists and curators, the speakers, all partner institutions, the public who had already booked their visit to BARCODE, the public who accompanied us this far, despite all these difficult moments. WE ARE WAITING FOR TANGIBLE, PUNCTUAL AND TRANSPARENT ECONOMIC MEASURES BY THE GOVERNMENT, THE MINISTRY, THE REGIONS, THE MUNICIPALITIES AND BY THOSE WHO HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF IT, IF THEY DO NOT WANT US TO DISAPPEAR FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH, or at least from the Italian territory.
