Born in Naples (Italy) in 1976, he got his Master’s degree in History of Art at the University Federico II of Naples, focusing his research around the 16th century Art Criticism with Prof. Fiorella Sriccchia Santoro; then he majored at the School of Specialization in History of the Art in Viterbo with Prof. Patrizia Mania writing a thesis about the Portuguese Contemporary Art.
Between 2006 and 2007 he worked at the The Roman School Museum; from 2007 to 2011 he worked at La Galleria Nazionale in Rome as a scientific collaborator. He collaborated for many years with contemporary art galleries in Rome such as Pino Casagrande Contemporary Art Studio and Marie Laure Fleisch Gallery. He curated many exhibitions in Rome at Studio Casagrande, Ex Elettrofonica Art Gallery, Pastificio Cerere Foundation, The Romanian Academy in Rome, Roma Europa Festival 2008. In the last years, he created and developed the ongoing performative project La Forma del Pathos (The Form of Pathos) in collaboration with Teatro dell’Orologio and the no-profit art space AlbumArte in Rome.
He was in charge to edit the general catalogue of La Galleria Nazionale di Roma – Museo MAXXI, Le Collezioni 1958-2008.
Furthermore, he took care to edit the cards catalog about Boccioni and Carrà as part of the exhibition catalogue Secessione e avanguardia, l’arte prima della Grande Guerra 1905-1915 (La Galleria Nazionale, Rome). In 2012, he curated the exhibition catalogue on artist Rui Toscano published by Cura. He regularly writes for ‘Flash Art’ and ‘Exibart’.
